classes and information

Become a Firearms Instructor

We are the only Level II school in Tennessee. We are now authorized to train and certify students who want to become Firearms Instructors and perhaps, start their own Firearm Training business or work for us.

Security Guard Training

It takes just 4 hours of training from us to be qualified to work as a Security Guard/Officer in Tennessee. Perhaps you’ve seen ads on social media with starting salaries up to $40.00/ hr. You have to be trained as an Unarmed Guard or Armed Guard to work in TN. Unarmed Guard training costs just $150.00. Armed Guard is $250.00. We teach classes every day.

Introduction to Firearms

Each class is 2 hours in length and is held in a climate controlled location. The class gives you a good understanding of gun safety and operation of a pistol. Bring your own gun or you may try several of ours. Class times are determined by your schedule - tell us what time works best for you. Cost is $25 per student. Class size is 1-10, so bring a group and learn together.

Basic Firearm Training

This class covers everything you need to know about how to operate a pistol. We discuss gun safety, and skills needed such as aiming, stance, sighting, firing, cleaning, maintenance and storage. We use Laser Pistols in the classroom to help develop your skills. The class is approximately 3 hours in length and costs $40 per student. Add a trip to the range for only $60.

Enhanced TN Handgun Permit

This 8 hour class is more comprehensive than the Basic class and includes range time. Expect to fire 50-100 rounds. This training enables you to purchase an Enhanced Handgun Permit which allows you to carry a gun out of the state and openly here in the state of Tennessee. If you are going to travel out of the state with your gun, this is the permit you need. The group rate for three or more students is $90 per student or $150 for private classes. Range fees for all classes are $20.

Advanced Firearms Training

This class includes the above Basics and Enhanced Permit training. Time is spent on fundamentals that may save your life or the life of someone you love. We train using props and scenarios engaging multiple targets (moving and shooting) that will increase your skill level exponentially. Cost for this 6 hour class is $125 per student plus range fees. Be prepared to shoot no less than 200+ rounds.
